"A peaceful place to stay with great inexpensive food and right on the beach."

It was right on the beach and had a restaurant with good reasonably priced food.

The mattress was old and had a hole in it. They have a boardwalk in front of the beach but it is not being maintained. Still a nice walk to enjoy the ocean air but there are some closed down businesses and homes as you walk down the boardwalk.

"Puerto Armuelles is not a place for vacation"

The hotel has a restaurant that serves breakfast through to dinner and there is always staff available to help.

There are some palm trees on site, but otherwise the outdoor area is entirely tiled or covered with artificial grass.
