Sherwood Ranch Cottages - 403 Woodbank Road

We loved the horses and the cottage! We had kids with us, so the space was absolutely wonderful and the sheep!

There wasn’t anything to not like.

Comfortable beds, log burner and horses

Shower didn’t drain very well, but very minor. Would stay again.

Great cottage in a nice quiet location. Our daughter was smitten with the lovely horses in the paddock nearby. Will definitely stay again if we are back in Hanmer.

House and location was absolutely gorgeous, about a five minute drive out of Hamner Springs. The view of the mountains and surrounding area was stunning. Host's were very responsive, and even left some carrots for us to feed the horses which was very thoughtful.

It would have been lovely if there was some shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Also some milk and if possible a coffee plunger with some coffee would have been lovely. Also there were some bugs getting in to the house, I think they were coming through the cat flap.

Beds were very comfortable, loads of space, had all the facilities of a normal family home. Location was great.

Lack of family sized pots to cook meals

Beautiful location and a very cosy and comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again! Great communication throughout from the host as well. There was a great selection of games and we loved the fireplace!

Great quiet location but close to the centre. Very clean and tidy and equipped with everything we needed. Loved the sheep and the horses

Great proactive communication from host with good instructions. Great set up, easy to find, close to town but out in the country which is what we wanted. We were also left some carrots so my daughters could feed the foals.
