Retro 2 BR Home 6 mins to United Center with Parking

We were grateful for comfy beds and enough room for the five of us to stay together - four came from PA and met up with me (from TX) for a cousin’s wedding weekend. We were glad for plenty of hot water for all to get showers!

We had to wash the dishes, silverware, utsnsils and pots and pans that we needed to use, because they were greasy/dirty (as if somebody just wiped and put them away without washing) also didn’t realize till later that there were more towels in dryer but they were still damp from not dried long enough. Biggest issue was we did not know about the parking issues/permits/etc needed in Chicago!! We had two vehicles and one space, so we had to park very creatively … perhaps the owner could buy a sheet of permits and sell them (as needed) to future renters who have more than one vehicle so they can safely park one on Van Buren Street if necessary

The size was good and location ok

The parking lot was not good. We had a rental and its a big hole and it's nearly impossible to go around so our rental had got scraped at the bottom. I know it's a plus but it was hard to use the tv in one of the bedrooms. It never came on

The place is so spacious and cozy! They left snacks for us and made sure we were all set! Everything was easy to find, and we had no problems at all. If we did, our hosts already gave us instructions to help us out before we even arrived!. The food places around the west side are super good! I loved that the parking was in the back. I would come again.

The location is the only thing that I was concerned about. It is in the middle of the west side. It is not bad, but it's not the best place to be. I didn't have any issues with anything regarding the location, either. It is quiet, but the walls are thin, so be considerate. and just watch your surroundings/ be careful if you plan to go out at night :)

The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. It has everything you need. I was travelling for work and the house was great :-)

A car is needed to go to the shops. Since I don't have a car, I had to move around by Über and taxi. I think that's a common thing across North America, though. Maybe, I'm just used to shops being close to my house because I live in Spain.
