[Rio's] cozy apartment in the heart of Como

Tout était parfait ! Confort équipement propreté et contact avec l’hôte facile et rapide. Le parking facile pour notre voiture était un grand plus ! Emplacement idéal à 5mn à pied du centre de Côme. Nous recommandons cet appartement !

Die Größe und Ausstattung war hervorragend. Es fehlte uns an nichts…. Unsere Vermieterin war immer erreichbar und hat uns super Tipps gegeben z.B. wo wir mit den Kindern gut schwimmen können etc…. Eine super freundliche und hilfsbereite Dame ( Portier ) war am Tage immer vor Ort. Klimaanlage im Wohnraum und im Schlafzimmer.

Gibt nichts, was nicht okay war!

The location was very close and it was very clean.

Great location, very quiet neighbourhood but not far to walk into the busier areas. Very comfortable, large bedroom. Host was very responsive and was messaged to check in regularly enough to make sure there was nothing more needed.

Shower got quite cold quicker than we expected despite not having long showers, not sure if we were doing something wrong as when we contacted the host she said that there should be enough hot water for 4 people. Otherwise, didn't have any other issues and would definitely recommend

The property itself was in an excellent location, we were only 10/15 minutes walk away from the lake. It felt secure as it was firstly gated then secondly secured by a further entrance door. The place was absolutely spotless and plenty of towels were provided, the kitchen was well equipped (apart from only having one large plate) and the bed was very comfortable; there were shutters in each room, which meant you'd have complete darkness to sleep in. Although we didn't watch it a lot, there was a television and a living room area with a sofa, which turned into a bed. There was plenty of storage for clothes, an area to hang coats and place shoes, there was also a washing machine with detergent to wash clothes, all in all the accommodation itself was superb.

Unfortunately we did experience a few issues, although the host was very quick to respond to whatsapp messages I feel some of them could have been avoided upfront. 1. Prior to entry you are given a telephone number to call which automatically opens the gate then inner door, my phone number hadn't been added to the system which meant we had to stand in the rain for 20 minutes until the host managed to remotely open the gate for us, we then obtained keys from a lockbox once in the building. 2. The shower was quite cold, I reported this to the host who advised us to prioritise our personal hot water usage over any plate washing, etc...the next day we'd showered again and it was cold, we were told the same advice despite showering ourselves first thing in the morning...to get a 'proper' shower, we had to go in the shower and turn it on briefly, scrub with no water on then turn on quickly to rinse; in essence the hot water tank was filling but not reaching its setpoint temperature. 3. We hired a car for the weekend, I enquired about parking at the apartment upfront, I was told it wasn't available but was given directions to street parking and a couple of local car parks, I received a text asking me to move my car from the complex or it would be removed, I advised it wasn't our car...I did receive an apology but the initial text was quite accusatory.
