Rush Hill Cottage - with parking for 2 cars

Bed was a bit soft

The location was great. Very close to central Bath, google maps found it without difficulty, Roomy place with a nice front yard, large living area and kitchen.

A bit of a nit pick, but you have to drive over the curb to enter the parking area. This caused me to miss the entrance the first time as I was looking for the let down to drive over, and there wasn't one. This was not an issue other than the first time.

Primary bedroom was spacious.

The house is on a very busy and loud road that you can hear all night long from the primary bedroom. There was also construction right next door that started at 8 am on both mornings. The yard was overgrown with garbage in the bushes. Water pressure in the shower was very low. The one bathroom is located right off the kitchen. The washing machine wouldn’t turn on and we couldn’t access the outlet because of a lock on the cabinet door. Management wouldn’t come check it out or provide the code to the lock to let us check for ourselves. After trying to get it to work, the clothes in the machine were all wet with really smelly water. We ended up having to put the wet, smelly clothes in a plastic bag and take them with us when we left. There was only half a roll of toilet paper provided for five people for two nights. Management did not respond to our request for more.

Great location for us, bus stop round the corner into town short ride away, shops nearby and takeaways. cottage was warm and cosy

there was an issue with the bedding but it was sorted out as soon as they could, we couldn't find details on how to turn on the heating as someone removed the sign but hosts answered the phone straight away and gave us instructions

Heating wasn’t working in one of the rooms which made it a bit chilly

Boiler wasn’t working. Unfortunate, but the house was therefore very cold.

Location was good. The cottage was perfect for our needs and on a bus route into the town, with the bus stop being in close proximity to the cottage. It is just under 2 miles from the city but the bus service is good. The cottage was clean and well decorated. Coffee, tea, milk were provided. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend time in bath,

I didn't like the amount of money booking.com added in commission. This cottage is over £100 cheaper with air B and B.

Clean, had off-street parking, easy walk to pub, supermarket and bagel shop

Needed to call host to get instructions on how to get the central heating to work as the ones in the folder did not cover what we needed to do. All fixed very easily though once we called.
