I LOVED everything about this place.. absolutely a go to area. Very comfortable, very safe, very affordable... I just love it 😍

Absolutely nothing.

The unit was very well equipped and located centrally within the estate. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were and how well we all slept. We loved playing mashie! It was a highlight of our weekend. The fishing dam was a delightful bonus and sitting on the jetty, casting a line as the sun went down was amazing. San Lameer was a real break away from the hustle and bustle. It is incredibly peaceful and quiet there. The buck wandering through the estate added to this serenity.

If I had to nitpick I would point out the following - the house, I assume from being closed up most of the time has a damp, musty smell. Walking barefoot in the unit is also not pleasant because the tiles have a sticky/tacky residue or film on them. The unit has a lovely coffee machine, except you cannot use it unless you have coffee pads (they look like round tea bags). Googled the machine hoping to use it but saw that these are needed. Don't even think we have these things in our stores, it is not something I've ever seen. Not sure how readily available these are but it's useful to note so you can bring these with should you want to use the machine. The unit has stairs (it is like a terraced unit) - not an issue at all for us but maybe something to note if you have mobility issues, small children and elderly people in your group.

The chalet was immaculate . Newly renovated with absolutely everything you could ask for . Most comfy bed and crispy white hotel linen . Beautiful patio area . Walking distance 600m to the private beach , 1.5km to the birding hides , 700m to the clubhouse where the food was amazing !

Great resort with excellent facilities and variety. Interior of our villa was in excellent condition and very comfortable.

Exterior of the villa could do with some attention, e.g. walkways, roof and facia boards appear shabby for an upmarket resort. Litter on the mashie golf course.
