Apart from no or slow internet the place was really nice.

We organised a trip through the hotel to the national park and hippopotamus sanctuary and were quoted a reasonable price. I even checked because it was going to be a long day. Alarm bells should have rung when the hotel asked for the money before we left. Usually, we paid the driver at the end of the trip. Once at National Park, we were told the driver would not take us to hippopotamus sanctuary, and if we wanted to go, we would have to stay at the park the night and go the next day. At extra cost. And if we still wanted to go that day it would cost the same cost again. All of this could have been sorted when we booked the trip, but it was a ploy to trap us with little choice. It was 8 hours until the night tour at the park and given the driver would not take us to hippo sanctuary to fill in the time and given the heat, we went back the 3 hours to the hotel and missed out. No refund for our trip cut short either, so we stayed at the hotel the next day, not trusting them to go out again despite the woman being extremely over insistant we go out again at our own cost. Airport transfers were included as per booking.com. we did not fly there, so we did not get a transfer to the hotel, but after being dropped off at the airport, the driver demanded payment. We did not pay that and showed him on the booking.com site. We left him talking to the hotel. It was an expensive waste of 3 days and we did not see what we wanted to because of this.
