Glen Fern Lodge - Garden Apartment with Parking - Heart of Bournemouth Town Centre - Close to Beach - Darts and Table Football - Sleeps 11

Location was spot on. The host was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was perfect along with the main bathroom.

The bedrooms were not really that comfortable. Personally, if this was my property, I would call this as suitable for 6 people and not the 11. My wife and I stayed in the small bedroom which was not very comfortable. It had a shared toilet and hand basin with another adjoining room. My opinion is that if the smaller room was converted to another shower/bathroom it would go along way to giving this property 10 out of 10. Please don't get me wrong this property was no where near bad or atrocious, far from it. How there is only parking for 1 car.

We (group of 7 ladies) had a great stay at Glen Fern Lodge it was a perfect location to go out for food, drinks and music. The host was brilliant answering all my queries prior to our stay very quickly. Basics were supplied, towels, teatowel, washing up liquid, hand soap. Great supply of cups and glasses. Really lovely apartment and plush bedrooms. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Thank you.

The location was on point, easy access to the beach and stores for shopping🫡👊. Spacious apartment was really a great choice, and I'll stay again

The location was excellent and good value for money!

We liked the property however a few things are needed- Extra bins in the rooms, only 1 bin is available in the kitchen. A dishwasher would be great, new plates & cutlery as some were chipped, the fridge and cupboards smelt, the rug in the living room is a hazard, everyone kept falling over it! A few touch ups with paint, I think! One bed was really uncomfortable for us and it was low and springy. These are just little things otherwise good stay!

That the owner was responsive to the call that the giving had fallen down during the night, came to repair and gave us two bottles of wine and offered to extend our checkout to later for inconvenience of early hours wake-up!

Steps - some not taped (kitchen into lounge/ plus differing levels outside) to highlight a step. Plus loads of steps down to the entrance. We had a 90 year old with us, plus parents in 70/80’s, sight being an issue and room layout plus beds. Not all mattresses had protectors, plus some needed to be replaced as springs were uncomfortable. Lack of a proper kettle, especially with elderly people. Oven was disgusting, pleased we were not cooking. Freezer needed defrosting. Place was not clean, especially under beds.
