It was a great place if you are looking for quiet and nature. The cottage had everything you need and extra comfortable beds, big living room, cozy kitchen with all the appliances. The dogs outside were great fun. Perfect for families.

Peaceful with only the occasional sound of farm animals and birds. The friendly visiting dogs. Everything, I needed for a home away from home was there. Cosy bungalow. Away from busy Inverness but close enough to travel into the city, east and west coast. I came to relax, not as a tourist, and that is what I got. Local shinty matches. Plenty of parking space.

Nothing to complain about. I didn't read the access instructions very well and mistook the boiler for a dishwasher. I would choose to come here again. Car is useful but there are a few buses I believe. A number for a local taxi might be of use.

Beautiful countryside, great to be out here instead of an Inverness hotel to enjoy Scotland’s rural beauty. Went for a walk down the quiet roads. Ate dinner in the cute town of Beauly. Met the owner, nice guy (and friendly dogs my daughter loved). Comfy place, hot shower, had the essentials for a quick meal at home.

My wife called it the squeaky house. Our bed was so loud at every shift and turn. Same with walking across the room and hallway. It’s a country house so don’t expect modern updated decor or appliances (not a big deal). Also given it’s a country house, you might have to kill a spider or two (I had to handle one really large guy).

This retreat was just the perfect place to stay that was gorgeous, serene, and (best of all) away from the tourist areas. I loved having the peace and quiet, but still able to drive to the must-see things. The 3 dogs on the property were such a joy to see every day! They would great us with wagging tails each morning and upon return from the daily activities. The hosts were so kind and very open to us loving on their cows, horses, and sheep. Staying here was truly a gem of our Scottish holiday.

I am very picky about beds, and my husband is prone to taking up most of the bed, so take it with a grain of salt. But the bed was a bit tight for my husband and I to share.

Beautiful place to stay, nice to get away from the city and loved meeting all of the animals. I always received quick responses when I had questions. The dogs were great to play fetch with.

The cottage was excellent, had everything you would need, peaceful location, close to sight seeing activities in the area, bonus was the daily visits from the 3 dogs to play fetch

Stunning location, just what you need to get away from the hustle and bustle. Cosy bungalow, comfy beds. The hosts provided everything we needed if not more.
