Problem with Aircond...

If you're looking for your own room (shared bathroom) in budget accommodation very close to the dive shops, & Semporna jetty, then this is an excellent choice. The beds are extremely comfortable, far better than expected for this price range, the bedding & room were very fresh & clean, & the owners were incredibly helpful.

Despite informing them of my arrival time there was nobody on-site, at the accommodation, to meet me on arrival, or for check-in. You have to telephone the owners & wait for them to arrive. This is the same if you have any problems through the night. This is a minor inconvenience, & the benefits far out way this negative point. The shared bathrooms, whilst functional, are in need of renovations to match the standard of the room.

Nice place and good value for money.

It didn’t feel that safe - you can walk all the way up from the street without having to open any locks. My room door just had one lock on it.

Good central location for diving Beds were comfy and room was a good size

Requested a double bed, got no reply and ended up with 2 singles Bed linen was marked and dirty Room not sound proofed so all the noises from the street and water systems kept us up all night No toilet roll, soap or shampoo on arrival - everything empty and Toilet roll on replaced when asked Mosquitos in the room, staff went to spray but had run out so just left them and never came back Had to call 3 different numbers to be able to check out (even though I messaged them with check out time) as reception isn't manned and there was no reply after multiple calls and messages
