Breakfast choice of cereals was adequate and all that was required, located close to room.

Good sized light room with a nice ensuite shower room, comfy bed and plenty of clean towels. It feels as if the furniture has been chosen by someone with an eye for style, as the bed and desk and side tables were all really nice pieces, as well the lovely mismatched angle-poise lamps. The bar downstairs is also very cool, open and with a lot of character and original features, and with friendly chatty staff. The food also looked excellent. This is a really lovely area of Bristol to stay in, only 5 mins walk to Clifton Station and on a lovely quiet street not far from the downs. The train into the centre takes about £15 and costs about £3, which means you can have all the benefits of coming to see Bristol without the very noisy city centre at night.

The apartments are accessed via the downstairs door, which had a keypad with a code. This was given to us on a slip of paper, which - surprise! - I managed to loose. No-one answered my messages about this until the following morning (it was a Sunday) which meant an anxiety inducing evening not sure if we'd be able to access the room when we got back there. I appreciate it was my fault for losing the door code, but there's a reason these things are normally emailed or texted rather than written down. Also might be a good idea to put up a notice in the hall telling people not to stand talking in the hallway after 11pm!

Clean, comfy and perfect for our needs

The location is great for the Clifton area of Bristol. The staff welcomed me. In the pub they found us a table for 5 of us to watch the England Semi-final with very short notice. The staff couldn't do enough. The room was great and comfortable, good shower, coffee and complimentary water. The pub below is lovely and it has a small theatre. You walk past the stage door to get to the rooms.

This was Ok for me, but for others it's worth noting there are a lot of stairs to access the rooms. Also no cooked breakfast option. There is help yourself cereal which was all I wanted and lots of cafes walking distance. There was a very small amount of noise from the pub at closing time, but England had just reached the final which doesn't happen every night!
