1BR hidden gem at the Nook

Good location just off main street. Clean compact but more than adequate. Bed comfortable, good storage, cooking facilities. Not much contact with staff as not based in building but always seemed helpful. Only through email.

We were in based in flat 1on the ground floor off a central well . There were 4 floors with walk ways to each flat. Not all the flats seemed to be occupied. At night any movement triggered central lighting which shone directly into our bedroom like a floodlight. The flat above ours seemed to have multiple occupancy who constantly were dragging furniture around , walking around and more importantly talking loudly often outside on their walkway which amplified the noise due to the design of the building which had no soundproofing. This was always late evening often after we went to bed around 10 30. Twice there were 'crashes' that woke us the first 2 nights. I referred the first night's incidents to the management company which suggested there was little to be done. I was then able to read previous reviews and these comments were repeated several times this year. I URGE THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY TO TAKE SERIOUS NOTE AND MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO IMPROVE THEIR CLIENTS EXPERIENCE. SADLY WE WONT STAY THERE AGAIN.

Location

No blinds or blackout curtains to protect you from courtyard lights turning on every time someone stepped in or out. Walls are thin. Could hear conversations from upstairs neighbors as if they were sitting on your bed. Communicated to management but they don't care. They have had this issue since January 2024 and have not fixed such a simple thing. Don't believe false reviews, you cannot sleep here, from upstairs neighbors playing loud music and dropping things on purpose at night or people talking right outside window. Outside door left open always, although there were bars on outside window, since outside door was left open, anyone could break in through bathroom window. Didn't feel secure and would not recommend this place to anyone. Look back to review from Jan 2024 and this one, they are true reviews. After long day, couldn't sleep any nights here. Beware of this overpriced apartment. Nook is a no-no.

The location, bed and shower are good.

Polite but almost zero support, I needed two supports and they failed on both. In addition to the apartment being exactly as in the photos but much smaller than it appears. But it is comfortable. My suggestion is: only be a guest, if you don't depend on them for ANYTHING.

Upon arrival, the property was exceptionally clean - the hosts have clearly paid a lot of attention to what a guest would need, with lots of amenities included (towels, wifi, etc). The property is very well equipped, with a spacious fridge and freezer, oven, hob, and microwave for those wanting to cook for themselves, and the bedroom had a ensuite complete with a spacious shower, toilet, and a large mirror and sink. The bed was incredibly comfy and spacious, and the whole apartment is air-conditioned, and didn’t receive much noise, leading to very good sleep.
