GBThe house had everything we needed for a 3-night stay, it was really comfortable, quiet, and private. We stayed as some family live nearby in Stevenage, it was easy enough to drive around to see them (or walk if needed). A great base for exploring London (we got the train from Stevenage station) and Cambridge (we drove but could get the train).

USLoved the home, it was perfect size for a longer stay, had all the amenities needed. The hosts were fantastic (see my other reviews) and we would definitely stay there again without hesitation!
GBThe host family were very helpful and friendly. The bed was so comfy and all the thoughtful little bits like toiletries, milk, water, toilet roll etc were so helpful saved running to shop after a long journey. We will definitely be going back soon as very near our family. It's a home from home.

US“The perfect “home away from home”! We stayed here whilst searching for a home in this area, and it had absolutely everything we needed! Thoughtfully appointed with all necessary appliances, including a washing machine, it was very comfortable here. We were a little worried that my husband, who is 6’5”, would have difficulty moving around in a small home, but he had no trouble at all. It is a smoke and vape-free home, we could adjust the heat up or down to suit our needs, and it is a very peaceful location. We were here on weeknights and weekends and never had any noise issues at all. The hosts are very kind and responsive to questions and addressing any needs, and they have mastered the art of balancing that responsiveness while still ensuring that guests enjoy a peaceful stay. To answer the question as to whether we would stay here again: we not only would, but we have in fact chosen to continue our stay here for another term until our house plans are finalized!

GBVery quiet and safe location, handy for shops and getting into town. Also close to Knebworth house and park which is a beautiful walk. The property is perfect for 1 person or a couple as it's small but has everything you need and more. FREE parking on site or just outside the driveway. Kitchen fully equipped with lotsa extras like cleaning products and all you would need. The whole house was spotless! I will definitely stay again as perfect location for me to visit family.
There was a problem with the boiler banging really loud in the morning which woke me up at 6am. I called the owner and he offered to send a plumber immediately. The owner was very kind and offered a refund which I didn't take as it wasn't about the money it was just that I wanted to sleep with no noise. With help from the owner Gary I managed to rectify the problem myself and all was good.
