The Alma Taverns Boutique Suites - Room 4 - Hopewell

The location and the pub downstairs and its staff. With a longer stay we would definitely have gone to whatever was on in the theatre while we were there!

I thought there would be more kitchen-like facilities but there was a kettle and cafetière in the room, with even a fridge with milk, bowls, cutlery and some cereal on the landing, which was more than I’d expected. We ended up supplementing breakfast with some stuff from Sainsbury’s (5 mins down the road) but that was absolutely fine.

I loved the vibe,energy and general feel of the place. The team&staff were welcoming,helpful and with a real positive ,sunny attitude. Top ,top top

My room's window was just above the kitchen vent,so a bit noisy but, I guess, nothing much could be done about it. Maybe next time I'll see if I can book a different room.

Great bed, plentiful hot water, big room! Fab location. Kind, welcoming and practical stadf.

Was a bit chilly. Take ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise and you’ll be fine :-) parking is on the street and can get chocca.

The room had a really odd and unpleasant smell. The radiators only worked if put on full heat, so the room was either really hot or completely cold. The bedside light was broken.

Very quiet and comfortable room. Wasn't disturbed at all by noise from the pub.

There was a constant noice from a boiler/fan. WiFi wasn’t very strong.
