The Alma Taverns Boutique Suites - Room 4 - Hopewell

Its a convenient location and a good size room.

The outer door handle didn't work so I was stuck outside in the cold in the early hours of the morning without any way of getting in.

Great location and above very nice pub with great food and service. Small (5 rooms) and quiet. Ideal for visiting children at the University.

Someone with mobility problems might find stairs a bit steep.

I have to be e mailed I total 9 times about the reservation and deposit…to many.

room was comfortable.

kettle was unusable due to lime scale and mould. undecorated hallway. no residential licence.

The room was comfortable and the shower was good. It is above a pub which was handy and the staff there were friendly.

The downstairs general entrance to the accommodation part of the pub is dirty and smells a bit. It is better once you get through the second door to the second flight of stairs to the rooms. What should have been lovely - the provision of some breakfast materials and milk in a fridge - was let down by the milk being over a week out of date. This accommodation needs some better general oversight and management. Small things, like the blind in the room not shutting properly - are not being attended to either.
