Sun & Sea Lodge Ocean roof

It is simple and restful. Not a lot of visual clutter so it’s very relaxing here. The open terrace on the roof provides both sun and shade comfortably. The dorm room is clean and cozy, different types of mattresses to chose from-Big luxury at a hostel! You can use the rooftop kitchen and it’s clean , well equipped and the fridge is CLEAN! The area is quiet and secluded and you can walk to the beach, hiking opportunities and no one bothers you to buy things. The host is a FABULOUS cook so you should experience her cuisine! Showers are excellent, clean and roomy. The owner takes great care to keep everything clean in the bathrooms. Water is hot and the pressure is good for showers.

For me personally, the lack of taxi service meant I got price gouged coming and going. Since I didn’t want to rent a car for a week , this is on me but I would have liked to see a better taxi arrangement between the property and a taxi service by the local transport. The driver would get dedicated business in exchange for not gouging the clients…😉 Yes buses are an option I’m just saying what my preferences are. I knew the situation going in so it’s full disclosure- I’m just saying what I would have liked to be different. 👍🏻

The host is super nice, and there is a delicious breakfast. The balcony has breathtaking views over the coast. The village is the perfect place to have a quiet stay and enjoy the tranquility of the sea. The host ensured our stay was well-organised by helping us book a taxi.

We had a very nice experience at the Sun & Sea Lodge! The place is very easy to find as it is right at the entrance of the village (which is tiny, you won't get lost). Also super easy and safe to park. The place was very cozy, modern and clean. It had everything one could need for a short-midleght stay. Wifi, good showers, and indoor living room full of musical instruments and boardgames. With a bottom floor terrace that is great to have breafast or dinner and a beautiful rooftop tearrace to chill. The Food was Excelent! Isham and Kristine cooked for us every day and they really are very very good cooks! Great place, great vibes, 100% recommend the experience

The perfect place when you're in Ouassane! This very beautiful and well renovated house is a heaven to rest with tasty food and kind company.

the house is nice, but that’s because you’re contributing to someone’s living house so that’s why it’s nice, it’s not made for you to enjoy it

the host is romanian-german who moved to morocco for her lover. in the beggining i was only introduced to her as ‘owner/runner’ of the house. when my time to check out came, her boyfriend (who also got in jail for dodgy business during my stay and police searched everybody’s bags in rooms) turned out to be owner all of a sudden. the place is cheap at booking, but then they will try to bill you a lot of money for nothing. they charged me 62£ for using some water, making myself coffee in the morning, eating some bread and olives. the boyfriend threatened me when they struggled to scam me because i refused to pay that amount. at the end, i was just happy to pay half just to end the arguments and go away. which i did, but i shouldn’t have. a big disappointment. there was never any service or care during my whole stay. normally you pay for service when they bring you breakfast etc. there was never any of that. they were very rude and intimidating but i have thick skin so i was okay. but please avoid, it’s not a good vibe. SURF HOUSE MAROC has a good vibe, better experience and better people and run from moroccans who started the hostels in the village. at least you’d be giving your money to people who actually deserve it, not to some dishonest europeans. appart from that, the people of sidi kaouki are nice. there’s some nice surf spots but you’ll need a car. stay safe people!
