"Nice, comfortable and good location."

The flat is really well decorated and really clean. It’s in a really great locations with only a 30 minute walk down the river to the town centre. The host was really lovely and gave really clear directions and the parking facilities were great too.

The only thing is the upstairs can be a bit noisy. People were definitely trying to be quiet but I think it’s just the way the building is insulated. I would bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

"Highly recommend - old house but inside high standard and super comfy"

Super clean, cozy, recently renovated place with an eye for the small but so important little things like additional cozy blanket for the colder nights, salt and pepper as well as coffee and tea ready in the kitchen, even dishwasher tabs and fresh fruits were there. Loved the direct access to the garden and river and the new bathroom. Super easy communication with the owner by email and phone. Loved the place - would come back in a second.

The Appartment is under an active bed an breakfast located in the sub terrain of the house. Means you certainly hear what’s going on above you in the morning and evening. But if you are a light sleeper ear plugs will do the trick. If you sleep on the couch (it is a sleeping no couch) an additional topper would help - the mattress is a bit on the thinner side and you start to feel it after three nights. But otherwise - the location is super cozy and modern, without loosing its character

The modernity of the decor and the cleanliness

The view onto the garden and river was spoiled by several washing lines and other miscellaneous eg gardening implements.

"Expected perfection, was a bit disappointed!"

Nice welcome pack. Quick response by the owner for requested outside clothes drier. Narrow entrance for vehicles, but no problems getting a space. Appliances were of good quality. A deep clean, some TLC & rectification of faults would make this property so much nicer.

Living room/kitchen fire door was missing a seal (safety issue, would allow smoke into the only exit point in the event of a fire). Oven badly needing a clean so we did not use it. Windows were dirty & some other areas needed a deep clean. Bathroom door hinges were shot causing the door to hit the frame. Heating was odd as it was only effective on the last 2 days of our 10 day stay. A bit too far out to walk to town / amenities. Noise from B&B breakfast room upstairs. Overpriced for 1 bed, 1 bath apartment in that location. e.g. we usually book a 2 bed, 2 bathroom, with same or better facilities, walking distance to town/amenities for £50 a night less (was unavailable). Previously reviews included some of these issues, but they have not been addressed.

Everything in the apartment was first class. Full kitchen, with nespresso coffee machine and capsules, washing machine.

the drive is very narrow, we were told about this so we were prepared.

Nice bright apparent in a lovely quiet location

Parking access tricky. Remote control needs new batteries. Toilet seat broken. Cold. No hot water in the morning.
