"An amazing quirky house with split level kitchen facilities but everything provided. Thank you!"

Self catering in a great location. A private patio with garden furniture.

downstairs bathroom for overnight visits (!) but understand why no room upstairs.

"Exceptional"

10.0

The cottage was lovely and clean and cosy. Greg and Lucy had thought of everything with all the little extras and complimentary goodies on our arrival. The property was in a lovely little village with a pub within walking distance.

"Fabulous stay"

9.0

Almost everything was great, we had a lovely stay. Very comfortable, very good amenities, a gift of cider & chocolates on arrival. Excellent & helpful communication with our hosts. Fantastic to have ambience of quaint & ancient cottage but with all mod cons. But you must be prepared to handle steep & winding period staircase. Worth it for the beautiful bedroom upstairs!

The wifi connection is very patchy & is not to be relied on. There is a landline to partially mitigate this. And you have to park carefully on the street - it is very narrow.

"Very relaxing, comfortable property in a lovely village, could have stayed longer and would happily return."

9.0

Very tastefully decorated, high quality appliances, lots of character with period features.

Directions to the property once in the village could have been better especially when arriving in the dark. (Could have said through double gates and up a path on the left) for example.

"Great place, clean, characterful and cozy. Highly recommended!"

9.0

This is a seriously cozy and charming place. There is everything you need here, and it’s very comfy and warm (in winter). And there’s a great pub two minutes walk away.

The only thing is that it’s a bit of a trip to the loo in the night (down the steep staircase), but that’s the nature of the age of the property.
