The house is underground, without windows and with roof not so high. Therefore, not only is difficult to breath but there is the risk that your head hit it. In addition, it was not so clean! We found: - hair on the bad as well as some little animals on the sheet and on the floor! - Spiders and bugs in the bathroom; - dust in all the house; - the top of the fridge very dirty! Spoons, forks and knives not organized! It was a nightmare! In all the senses because at midnight someone arrived in the house above ours, doing a lot of noises! I hope they were not the owners who not met me

Location close to JFK which was what we were looking for. Bed was ok I guess.

Place was poorly maintained and dirty with spiderwebs and bugs. Windowless room which was super hot when we walked in, air conditioning functioned poorly and was loud. You could also hear the steps from the upper unit all night long basically. Would not stay here again.

July 2025. The basement apartment was clean comfortable, and worth the price. It offered 2 beds which was exactly what we were looking for. I liked the fact that I was able to prepare my own meals in the little kitchen as I don't like eating fast food constantly. The host was very accommodating to our needs. I'd definitely stay here again I need to.

The apartment was hot. Not cool enough. The old AC unit in the kitchen area needs to be replaced. There was only 2 windows, one in the kitchen and the other in the bathroom. During the summer months, there should be proper AC to cool the place. That basically was the only disappointing factor. And after several use, the bathroom had a particular odor.

Visit & Relax, Jamaica was a very affordable apartment near New York - JFK, which was easily accessible via the Air Train and 6 or 60 bus. There were two bedrooms, so plenty of space for a couple. The shower was very nice and large. The kitchen was good, with a gas stove and a microwave. Although a basement apartment, we didn't rely on the air conditioning, rather we opened the front door and enjoyed the children playing in the street. There were shops nearby and the subway lines were walking distance (if you didn't have luggage).

There were no extra blankets as it was cold @ night. I had to wear a pullover to sleep.

Nothing.

The room was not what we were expecting, being a basement of a house of multiple occupation. We heard every noise from the people above: their talking, their TV, their footsteps! There was no headroom and one dangerous corner that cut my head. We couldn't see our faces in the mirror. Everything was squeezed in, tatty, and so low. The electric wiring sockets were really dangerous. The price/value was awful.
