B&B Il Paiolo

Silvia and Carla were amazing host! The room was spacious (with a huge bathroom). On top of that you have a nice shared balcony and a kind of kitchen (with microwave oven, fridge, kettle etc.) A thing you should consider is that the breakfast is light (a hot drink, a cold drink and a toast or croissant), but this was enough for us especially having the above mentioned kitchenette. Another thing I liked about property is the location. It is exactly between lake and train station (10 min walking in both direction).

The only thing that was a bit disturbing - the neighbours’ dogs ( they are a bit too loud). But this is not the property issue.

The location was very good. There were parking lots close to the B&N II Paiolo. Silvia was very nice and kind person. Her mother( I guess) was very kind too.

There were dogs of the neighboor houses, who barked in the mornings, which waked up us.

Really nice garden, very nice hostess, feels like a private hotel.

Silvia is a kind hostess and helpful too. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. The AC worked well. The bed was comfortable. There was a fridge and tea making facilities in the landing and iron and board on request. There needs to be a bin in the bedroom as well as a box of tissues. There is no toothpaste, shampoo or conditioner provided.

The breakfast is provided by a nearby cafe and was very meagre, limited in quantity and variety. The accommodation is uphill and at least a 10 minute walk from the train station. It's also a 15 minute from the waterfront and a 10 min walk from the nearest supermarket. Doesn't sound like a lot but doing an uphill climb in the intense July heat can be really challenging especially when carrying luggage. As a town Desenzano wasn't very interesting or beautiful, and it's only worth going there to visit Sermione, which is a half hour ferry ride away.

The accommodation is well positioned in relation to both the train station and the town centre It has excellent facilities and a relaxing environment I highly recommend it The breakfast at a local restaurant was good

I had no concerns

Accomodation was excellent.. We liked it more than 4 stat hotell in Verona. Room was very nice and completely clean. There was no own balcony in the room, but the sheard balcony was nice. Only minus was that breakfast was quite light. We really recommend Il Paiolo!!

B&B Il Paiolo is an accommodation for those who are looking for a real Italian vacation. It is a bit like being a guest at an elderly Italian aunts house. Really nice warm environment, like a typical Italian home- very clean and nice. We enjoyed it very much. A big thank you to Paioli
