Apt 5a Central by river 1 Bed Apartment

Location was perfect

The bedroom was quite small

Good location, secure car park available for £5 a night

Wasn’t very clean, and very basic

I have stayed in two other front facing apartments in this building, which is in a great central location, but quiet being opposite a riverside garden by Fye Bridge. Only a one bedroom apartment at the back was available this time but it was still well laid out, comfortable and well equipped.Nice to have an illuminated mirror above the bathroom sink and a large shower.

I prefer the balcony studio apartment at the front for the view and outdoor space. Its very tight for space at the end of the bed to get to the window, it's easier to crawl over the bed!

The property was clean and access was clearly explained. The agent responded quickly and efficently to any queries. The apartment was spacious enough for our needs.

The only issue was the secure parking. A designated space was allocated (for which we happily paid extra), but no one else using the car park seemed to follow any protocols regarding parking. This needs to be addressed in some way.

Clean, modern and functional. Good shower. Well situated to walk into town.

Very small space at foot of bed to get to far side. No washing up brush or sponge in kitchen. Shower tray very slippery! On leaving the car park the gates were open because a car had driven in, but as we drove towards the open gate it started to shut just as we reached it and broke the passenger side wing mirror!!! The gate opened again because the car nose broke the beam (which seems to only go straight across between the uprights). This should not be able to happen - the sensor should detect a vehicle approaching the gates - the beam should cover an arc. An unwelcome ending to our enjoyable stay in Norwich.

The bed was so tight in the pace that it was extremely difficult to get around to the far side - and challenging in the dark! We had a problem as the key code had been sent to me a long time ago, so the email including it could only be retrieved by having internet access. That I could only get when inside the flat! Fortunately a person in another flat heard my problem and gave me access to his internet. I suggest a message containing all the necessary codes should be sent just a day or two before the entry date. This was done by another property we went onto after Norwich

parking. You lost your space every day by late afternoon

Everything. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and it was a pleasure to stay here. I have been working in Norwich for the past five months and have stayed in a number of hotels etc. This was the best of them all by some margin.

Dirty cutlery and crockery, broken dining chair. dirty common parts, extra charge for parking not explained on site.
