Apt 5a Central by river 1 Bed Apartment

Well presented comfortable and clean, with plenty of facilities

Good location, apartment was very clean and had everything for a few days stopover in this outstanding City. Good secure parking at back of block which was extra payment separate from original booking.

This block of flats consists of about twelve dwellings. Some of which are short term lettings. I noted from an earlier feedback that this has been noisy, Dec 2023. The sound proofing is not that good, you can hear when a neighbour uses the bathroom. The dwelling below us had a male in who had invited some friends to stay over. We stayed for two. The first night they seem to move furniture around most of the night and the second night, they were just shouting and what seemed like fighting, all night! at 3am, I went down and asked politely to tone it down a bit as there was no way anyone could sleep through the noise. I was, in not so many words by a very intoxicated male to go forth and multiply and other expletives. As I returned to our flat I met couple who had come in from being out and asked if they experienced anything like this and they said they just didn't want to get involved. The noise if possible was even louder for the rest of the night, this gentleman and his friends making a point of the matter. We did not sleep, one because of the noise and secondly there was concern he and his friends would appear on our doorstep. We left around 8am, very tired. We were subjected to more verbal and threatening abuse as their window overlooked the car park and where we were parked and three males were in the window shouting at my wife and I. This was later reported to the host, who was a bit luke warm in his response and then I reported it to Booking.com who could not have done enough with a flurry of apologies and issued a full refund. Thank you booking.com. In short, Would we stay in Norwich City again, definitely, it had such a good atmosphere, everyone was very accommodating bar the tenant below us. Good food, pubs and good shopping according to the wife but I was on business so luckily missed that. Would we stay in this block of flats, NO!

We did not have a balcony as advertised and stated on the Invoice.

Quite central to the city. Everything in the apartment that we needed, cosy & warm.

Noisy neighbours but that was nothing that could have been avoided.
