Wolds Motel - Mt. Pleasant

We had an emergency and had to leave after being there about 4 hours. The hotel would absolutely not refund any or even part of our money. We thought this was very unprofessional as we were in a tragic situation with one of our buddies.

The fire alarm was going off all night. Maybe the battery was going dead?

I can't answer this question.

The floors were filthy; my feet were black after walking around barefoot only briefly. The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke despite my being told upon check-in that smoking was not permitted in the rooms(I do not smoke). The morning I checked out I went to my vehicle to load and discovered my gas fill door was open and the cap had been unscrewed and the driver's door handle was broken as if someone tried to break into the vehicle
