SUPER hyggelige eiere av hotellet. God frokost, og vi fikk med oss matpakke når vi sto opp 05:00 for å gå opp Machu Picchu. Fin utsikt og veldig bra beliggenhet.

This hotel is centrally located in Aguas Calientes, within walking distance of the Ministry of Culture office where Machu Picchu tickets can be purchased. This can be very convenient for travelers who prefer to arrange their tickets in person. The breakfast was early but it was good and provided everything we needed before a day of exploring the region. The owners also helped arrange a tour with an excellent guide for Machu Picchu. A special thanks to Luz, who kindly accompanied us and showed us exactly where to take the bus.

The property felt more like a family-run guesthouse than a traditional hostel. This is not necessarily a negative point, but it is something future guests should be aware of. We experienced an issue with the toilet flush, although it was repaired quickly by the owners. The rooms do not have heating, and temperatures can become quite cold at night. During one of our two nights, the room was noticeably cold. There was initially no toilet paper or shower gel in the room, only small shampoo samples. We later learned that toilet paper should have been provided and that it had simply been forgotten. The main concern was the condition of the towels and bed sheets, which had visible stains. They appeared freshly washed and clean, and there was no indication of poor hygiene, but the stains were noticeable and affected our first impression. To their credit, the owner immediately replaced them and even offered a refund and cancellation if we were not satisfied, which I considered a professional response. However, I did not agree with the explanation that such stains are a normal part of a hotel's lifecycle. Cleanliness and presentation are important in the hospitality industry. For me, visible stains on towels and bed sheets are NOT acceptable, regardless of whether they are clean or not. For the owners : you have a wonderful place and a great location. Please take these remarks as constructive feedback, as a few improvements could significantly enhance the guest experience. Especially that the price was 70 USD per night !

L'accueil de Julia, malgré notre arrivée tardive à été excellente, bienveillante. Grâce à cet accueil, nous avons eu les instructions pour acheter directement nos billets pour le Machu Picchu. A tous moments Julia était disponible pour un renseignement. Nous recommandons ++++++

Very comfortable family owned hotel in the heart of the town. Just 1 minute away from the place where you can buy tickets. Comfortable new matrasses. Warm blanket. Very calm and easy to rest. There are plenty of dining options around. Also, the included breakfast is great and really big portion. Enjoy your stay and ask the owners a share the recomendations!

You could be concerned that the breakfast is from 6 to 8 am. But we were not bothered about it at all and were happy to start our day early.

The staff was lovely. Yuri was the best host you can ask for, super helpful and kind. The location is amazing with a clear view to the sacred mountain. Will return for sure
