Picked this for my wife’s birthday. Was excited for the location by the beach

The place was trashed like some frat house. The cleaning person had not come. We arrived with things to bake a cake and make a nice steak dinner for my wife’s birthday around 9pm. Upon arrival it was clear no cleaning had occurred. I contacted the host who blamed the cleaner and said I should leave and look something new. I asked to please have it cleaned bc we were willing to just deal with someone in the space to not have to be without accommodation for the night. We were told nothing could be done bc the cleaner wasn’t answering. We ended up at 11pm in another listing we had to find last moment. We paid tons more and had our money tied up from this property with the prepaid fee and security deposit for a week after so we were low on pound for our whole holiday. Avoid if you can, reviews are nice but you’d have to get to stay to know.
