Condo in Gatlinburg very peaceful - 10 min Walk to Main Strip

Nice and clean. Watched the bears from the balcony.

The condo was conveniently located within walking distance to the parkway. Even though it was so close, it was quiet and peaceful. We saw bears several times in the parking lot and behind the complex. We were thankful that the balcony was well lit at night.

It took us a while to locate the condo since the name of the complex is not mentioned in the listing. Although the condo was nicely decorated, the main building could definitely use some updating. There was a constant musty smell in the condo. The white towels in the condo need replaced as they appeared dingy and stained. In addition, there was a used washcloth found in the shower, and the light in the bathroom didn’t work.

The condo was quite comfortable and the owner very responsive. It was a short convenient walk to downtown and wasn’t get in and out of. I’m thankful we were on the third floor as the wildlife were within close proximity. Would not have wanted to be on the first or second floor where they could have gained access.

The facilities were a bit unkempt. The sliding door was cumbersome if you had your hands full. We didn’t use the pool area however did test the water which was warmer than we would have wanted to swim in. The parking is on a slant so be aware of that. The condo itself was quite nice.

The location was just a short walk from all the attractions. Food was right around the corner, and we had a variety to choose from. there was plenty to do in the area I would definitely stay longer than 2 nights since there is so much to do!

There wasn't much to dislike, but beware of the bears; we encountered a few on our short stay, so keep food out of your cars.
