Summer Fun - Waterfront 8BR Home with Private Pool!

Fantastic house for 2 families, 11 of us were very comfortable in the villa. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. The facilities were amazing - washing machine and tumble dryer which were well used, kitchen facilities were good ( maybe could have done with some extra plates and bowls) and the pool was great to have, we used it a lot. Great location if you have a car, close enough to Disney, Universal, Malls, Kennedy Space centre, and Orlando Airport. Walmart supermarket very short drive away. The communication with the owners was excellent, and any questions we had were answered very quickly.

The villa was a really good size and accommodated our group well. The rooms were well proportioned and gave a good mix of double and single beds. Large number of the bedrooms had on-suites which was really good. Having two large TV areas was also great. Kitchen was a good size and seemed to have all the kitchen appliances required. It looks as if the mattresses on all the beds have been updated recently which was really good to see. Plenty of towels available and a really good laundry room with what looks like relatively new washing and drying machines. The pool and surrounding area was a good size. The communication we received from Citrine Vacation Homes before arriving at the villa and during our stay was excellent. We had a couple of small issues in the villa when we stayed, ants around the pool, landscaping work completed around the villa (grass cutting / tree trimming) that made the pool dirty and a power cut (due to a storm) that stopped one of the Fridge Freezers from working. On all occasions we messaged the team at CVH on the Booking.com app and they got back to us straight away and provided solutions to resolve the issues. They even sent the maintenance team out at night, within 10 mins of receiving the message about the power cut, to resolve the issue. The welcome pack we received was well stocked and a nice addition that we weren’t expecting. Villa location was good - travel time to Hollywood Studios - 15mins / Magic Kingdom - 20mins / Universal - 45mins (I-4 never a quiet road) The Bella Vida gated community that the villa is located in was nice with a dedicated gated entrance. The security team were friendly. Would we recommend the villa to our friends and family, yes, would we look to stay again when visiting Orlando, yes. I have shared my feedback with the CVH team in advance of my online review and their response was positive including what they will do to try and action the areas that need improved.

With a high turnover of guests using the villa there will be wear and tear, we appreciate that however there are a few items in the villa that need replaced. The sofa / couch and chairs in the main living room area on the ground floor need to be replaced. They are dirty and have a large number of stain marks on them. It did make you think twice about sitting on the seats. The large rug on the living room floor needs replaced, it's dirty. It doesn’t look as if the floor under the rug has been cleaned in a while, very dirty underneath it. The blinds on the doors leading out to the pool area need to be replaced. A number of them are missing and those that are in place seem to be held up by safety pins or staples. Pool side chairs and tables – the large plastic loungers are in a reasonable state of repair however the table, chairs and metal loungers need to be replaced. They are all rusting away on the legs. Pools side area – there were a number of holes in the screened enclosure. I also think the poolside walk areas need a good clean. We seemed to find a large number of flies / bugs in the pool every morning, a lot more than you think we be present during the night. This meant that we would need to clean the pool each day, took around 30mins to one hour to do. Not sure if there is something wrong with the pool filtration as after one of the days that the pool maintenance man visited, he left with the pool looking really clean but then a few hours after his visit the pool was full of dead flies and bugs on the top of the water. I have shared all of these points with the CVH team on arriving home and they have already replied to my message, thanked me for the information and will look to make the appropriate changes - a sign of a reactive management team.

Large/ spread out rooms and pool

House was very big and pool was nice. Location was very good.

The house was dirty. It really needs good cleaning. Sofas and living room chears were dirty, too. The bedding was not nice and the bedcovers did not have any sheets. I don’t want to sleep with bedcovers someone else has used. Big house needs lot of maintenance and cleaning and I feel it was missing. There was also loud music in next house during night time.

Fantastic villa with everything we needed. 20-30 minutes from the Disney Parks. Fantastic contact from hosts.

Nothing

The property is a great base for getting around Kissimmee minutes from all attractions like Disney and Universal Studios, Brilliant hosts that were easily contactable and replied almost instantaneously. They also provide a welcome pack of information and trip ideas. The property had loads of space for the extended family I traveled with. Beds/bedrooms were immaculate and very spacious loads of storage. Kitchen was fully functional and accommodated a party of our size well ( 11 pax ) 2 american fridge freezers with ice maker and cold filtered water and two dishwashers. Other items include toaster, electric kettle for the English guests, filter coffee maker, microwave, massive oven and electric hob. Pool was a godsend and the children were in it as soon as they woke up. Laundry room on first floor was a bonus. The washing handled large loads well top loader, dryer if needed too. Site facilities are good too a basic gym and pool at the club house with cinema room. A few minutes walk from Walmart and Aldi on opposite side of main road. Chick Fila very close by ie minutes walk although not open on Sundays. The Medieval Times diner and Tournament is just outside of the complex. The complex is also gated for your security and safety.

Absolutely nothing. Perfect in every way for our stay of two weeks.

Loved how close it was to Disney and the space was large. It gave everyone their own space.
