Haven Richmond : Oakley:- 6 Berth Central Heated

The location for us was perfect and the site was clean and had enough facilities for our needs

We were disappointed in the van. Friends of our also booked on the site and paid considerably less through 'Haven'. The van did not have enough electric sockets (there was only one in the main bedroom and this was on the opposite side of the bed.) We also felt like we were intruding as the owners have their own private photographs hanging on the walls, the grand children's plates dishes etc in cupboards and shampoo, soap etc in the bathroom cabinet so if there was more than just the 2 of us there would have been no where to keep guests products. We have paid less and received free wi fi and more tv channels, had towels and bedding provided There was no rubbish bag in the bin, one of the toilets was not very clean and the shower screen was dirty with soap scum. The £75 bond was returned after chasing this Overall, we feel that it wasn't worth the money and that we have stayed in better accommodation with more facilities for less

The van was spotless and well positioned. Haven staff were great. Cheerful, welcoming & helpful.

We arrived at 6pm & after dropping our bags off we left to meet our party of friends. When we returned at midnight the van was freezing. We went to bed & checked the boiler at 8am which showed an error. It took another 4 hours for issue to be resolved. Owner was not very forthcoming with info. Had we been informed we needed to turn the gas on it would have helped (however this should not have been down to us) We missed our group excursion due to having to remain in the van until Haven sent someone.

It was good clean, facilities was all good . Suitable place near all everything shopping beach eg.

The caravan was perfect for our needs! Our children were very comfortable and made our holiday experience more like home. We were able to watch a meteor shower on the balcony with clear skies and eat dinner outside with our children. The entire experience in the caravan was perfect, and many memories have been created. Thank you

Little overlooked

Very big and spacious, everything you need is here. Clean and the beds are comfortable.

Well equipped, nice to have an en suite. The company running the caravan, McNevin Holiday Caravans were very helpful and answered queries quickly. Although I did find it difficult filling in the booking form etc. Unfortunately I'm not that savvy on using pdf etc on my phone.

The quilt was too thin, despite being hot weather the caravan got quite cold overnight (as they do) Was not happy about having to pay £64 for the play passes. No indication was made on booking. A friend got caught out at another Haven and had to pay an extra £200 approximately as there were 5 of them. She told me a few days before I went.
