The lodge is absolutely lovely, really well made and extremely clean. In a great location, short 10 minute walk to Kendal Town centre where there are some lovely shops, restaurants and pubs. I have a car so I could travel around so I don't know about public transport. Felt a bit odd at first being at the bottom of someone's garden but I got used to it.

Nothing I didn't like at all, the kitchen could do with a cheese grater (luckily I bought my own), missed having a proper oven just a hob and microwave. The lodge doesn't have a washing machine so not sure what you'd do if there for a week or more. Other than that perfect.

We loved everything. Perfect place for a peaceful getaway, 5 minutes walk into Kendal. Everything you could need in this pristine, modern and yet cosy lodge. One of the nicest places we have stayed in and we have been around the UK over the years. Glyn & Christine please take a bow 👏

Easy to find and great location. Great for a quiet break. Bed and sofa both comfy. Very easy to relax and unwind. Would recommend to others and great value for money

If I had to be picky the only thing I would suggest is maybe some baking trays / dishes for in the oven.
