La'al Lodge in Kendal (The Gateway to the Lakes)

What an amazing little find! Everything you could possibly want and need. Clean, comfortable and cosy. Very private and peaceful. Beautiful little touches from the hosts, milk in fridge along with two chocolate bars, heating on ready for arrival. Really beautiful little lodge that has been really well designed and thought of. Information book was a really lovely touch, ps. We loved your cats, who on arrival were super cute and very vocal greeting us when we arrived and left (adorable). Would 100% return, we had such a lovely relaxing stay.

Most chilled I have ever been working away. - I am in this area around 10 times a year and wish I could book this every time. Everything spotless, a high standard, thought of everything. Even down to Netflix was a bonus when you've been on road all day.

The location was amazing! In the heart of Kendal just a walk away from the Castle and all the local shops and restaurants! Our hosts were lovely and let us drop off our bags pre check-in. The place was so cozy and I would definitely love to stay here again next time I come to the Lake District! The transport links were great too, easily catching the bus across all of the Lake District.

We loved the location, it was easy to find, the best was cosy and loved the microwave/oven.

The WIFI didn’t work at all on our phones, it wasn’t too much of a problem as we had 4G.

This apartment was perfect. You couldn't find a better place to stay in Kendal. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you'd need while staying there. It's situated in such a secluded spot that you wouldn't even know there were neighbors.
