La'al Lodge in Kendal (The Gateway to the Lakes)

It was very well equipped and exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Nothing.

I had a wonderful stay at the Lodge. Surprisingly the weather in the UK was quite warm and I was very happy about the air conditioning. I find it truly impressive that every detail has been thought of.

The cooking pan was a bent, therefore the heat distribution was not so good.

The lodge was secluded and although in someone garden was very private. The lodge had lots of information about the local area which was very useful. We went to a lovely pub in walking distance.

Although compact, the lodge is beautifully laid out and well equipped. The natural light through the sky lights is great too!

We liked everything!

We enjoyed the location of the lodge, it allowed us to visit out to places in the local village by foot and a short drive from Windermere. The lodge was well equipped, full of natural light and was a really cosy space to relax.

Christine and Glyn were lovely and the lodge is delightful. The location is a perfect base to explore the lakes.

An amazing stay with everything you could possibly need. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thankyou for all the lovely touches you should be proud of La’al Lodge!
