Higher Upover

Absolutely stunning views across Woolacombe from the living room/kitchen. The apartment was clean, very comfortable with great facilities. The garden was a lovely outdoor space which was perfect for our dog and for us to sit out, weather permitting. We wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend to others.

The bed in the main bedroom could do with a mattress topper as I could feel some of the springs. Nevertheless, it was comfortable overall and didn't affect our sleep.

Poor supply in the kitchen eg no salt/pepper , no bread knife / masher . Master bed uncomfortable - mattress need replacing . Had to strip beds / communication lacked personal touch - signs to read .

The property is located perfectly for beautiful views across Woolacombe bay. Allocated parking meant it was always possible to find a space when returning from a day out. The complimentary Prosecco, coffee, tea and sugar was a lovely touch.

You can hear everything from the accommodation below! The floor boards are very noisy meaning that we felt as though we needed to tiptoe around so as not to disturb the family below. The dishwasher could do with a deep clean as was very unpleasant. It would have been nice to have had some basic condiments such as salt and pepper, there were mills there but both were empty - easy fix!

The apartment was lovely, really spacious with incredible views. Having the added bonus of a drive and spacious garden made it a really comfortable stay. It was very clean and well looked after, the linen all smelt really fresh.

Unless there was a route we did not find it is misleading to say it is 700metres from the beach, a route plan on google maps said 1.3 miles. This wasn’t an issue as there’s plenty of parking in woolacombe but something to consider if you weren’t planning on driving to the beach and have young children. A bigger bed would be brilliant in the main bedroom

No clear information on how to walk to Woolacombe centre and beach despite pre departure information staying 10 minutes walk. It was 15-20 minutes down very steep path. Not suitable for those with any mobility issues or pushchairs Uncomfortable springs on Bed in main room which is a double not King size as stated in summary Missing kitchen equipment which I reported and replaced promptly by agent Some broken furniture. Chest drawers in bedroom. Stains on the carpet and sofas Small shower cubicle

Beautiful location. Clean beds & kitchen

The shower had a rancid smell and was slow to clear.. I think it must be blocked. Cooker door didn’t close. Very limited pans- only 3 frying pans. Very few glasses .. one wine glass. Sofas need a very good deep clean. the coffee machine didn’t work- it needs a clean cycle
