The Roost in the Blackdowns

Great location, nice and peaceful for relax and recharge. Property have everything you need and more, comfortable bed, our favorite were two seats with a big window and view on the field. Hosts are very friendly and informative. There are plenty walks around in nature. Highly recommend and we would love to come back again.

The peace and quiet and the darkness on a night listening to the owls in the wood was just fantastic.

Everything was just as described. Great location, spotless and clean, great views, well equipped, had everything you needed, lovely atmosphere and comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Great hosts.

There was nothing to dislike.

Nice and quiet, very comfy, great beds, has all you could possibly need. Very nice stay! Helpful owners.

No proper garden to let dog out, esp late at night, although plenty nature nearby of course. Would have been nice to be able to let dog free outside, but owner's cats often just outside. Otherwise all perfect!
