Central location , easy access to dining

There could have been more toiletries. They were listed as included, but there was only hand soap at the sinks.

Great location - very central and an easy walk to the Cathedral and other lovely spots. Good facilities - my friend and I hadn't seen each other in ages so we used the kitchen which was well equipped. Great history about the place.

It is central however it's noisy at night we found as it's got that great location. So we heard people up to 3am that night. We couldn't find the instruction folder online or in the flat so it would be good to have that as there's some good kit in the apartment. Some milk in the fridge on arrival would be lovely too after a long drive.

The property was amazing, as soon as we walked in the first thing we all said was “I could live here”. The location is right next to the high street which worked out perfect for me on NYE as I was gigging at The Kings Head Pub which is next door to the apartment. Both rooms are spacious, modern and the beds were soo comfy. Bathrooms were also beautiful and water pressure with the showers were spot on. It felt like we found a hidden gem and it did not disappoint. The food basket on arrival was a nice touch and the host Sam was very accommodating and easy going to speak with. We will be back again.

The location and the contemporary style of the accommodation was good.

The curtains in one of the bedroom were hanging off the rail and we could not fix them. We contacted the host and he suggested that our privacy would not be affected and implied that the fact that the curtains were hanging off was not a problem. There was no apology from the host. We managed to find a bag clip which we used to try and minimise the problem and protect our privacy from the lively street below. A number of the curtains in the living/kitchen area were also partly hanging off. There were no blinds or window coverings in the three windows in the corridor leading to one of the bathrooms and no blind in the actual bathroom which meant there was absolutely no privacy from the outside world whilst in that bathroom or whilst going to it at night. We put up sheets etc as a makeshift solution. One of the panes of glass in that bathroom window was smashed and a piece of cardboard was stuck over the hole. There was a spiral staircase leading to a small office area, however, the staircase had been deliberately blocked at the top by a large cardboard box. We can only assume this was to prevent people using the office space but it was not clear why this was done. Dirty, greasy and smelly roasting tins had been left in the oven. We contacted the host about this and he suggested that we could put them in the dishwasher! There was no apology or acknowledgement that the roasting tins had not been left clean when they should have been. There was no washing up liquid. The window in the stairway outside the apartment is in very bad and dangerous repair. There was no apology from the host and his attitude was that there was not a problem with any of the issues we bought to his attention whilst we were there. He seemed to be deliberately missing the point that we had paid good money and that there were various things wrong with the apartment. He did not seem to care and he clearly found our messages and communications annoying.

Even better than in the pictures. The beds are super comfy and the house is like a home away from home. Location is also perfect for Lichfield.
