Casa Cueva “El Refugio en la Cueva”

En general, nos ha gustado muchísimo la casa, con todo en perfecta condiciones, y la ubicación inmejorable. Se agradece el detalle adicional de cápsulas de café y aguas en el refrigerador.

Nada que agregar. Un pequeño inconveniente con los adicionales del baño fue cubierto una vez se reportó al respecto.

This house is so cool! It is just steps away from Calle Cuevas de la Sombre and Calle Cueva Del Sol. We loved walking around the area. The host was very helpful and responsive. The key was easy to access. The apartment was comfortable and clean. Once we got there, it was great!

Parking! The streets by the apartment are for local traffic only. Expect to park outside the city area and walk (up/downhill) 10-15 minutes. There is a parking garage, but even that is a trek. Street parking is confusing so beware of yellow lines and no parking signs that might not be right next to the spot where you park (probably only an issue for non-European drivers). Also, our GPS directions to the address were not accurate, and we had to continue further down the road than it said.

Given the crazy parking in Spain, Sentenil de las Bodegas was no different, but, once we found the property we realized what a gold mine we were staying in. We couldn’t have been any closer to the most beautiful part of the town! My crazy wife was inviting people to look inside as they passed by because she was so impressed with the house.

Setenil de las bodegas est unique. La maison, sur 2 étage est sculptée dans le roc. Tout est rénové, moderne et décoré avec goût ! L’accès à Setenil n’est pas de tout repos. Mais cette maison est si belle qu’il faut la mériter 😉

The house was spotless. Water had been left for us. Very nicely decorated. Easy access with a key lock.

Obviously being a cave house the nights were a little chilly but there was a blanket for the bed.
