GBGBGBThere was plenty to do but everything was run down.
It wasn’t clean there was dirty dishes in the oven so had to do a cycle in the dishwasher when arrived Stains on some pillows. Pool table broken could play but needed replaced of r fixed. Lights were a nightmare. Showers pressure was bad. There was a hole in the trampoline that they had put tape over but kids couldn’t use it. The lights outside didn’t work and the shower or sauna outside didn’t work.
GBFacilities are great and they cater for everyone. Had a great stay with the girls!
GBExcellent location and a very well presented property with lots of amenities and a great welcome hamper that wasn’t ordered but still provided! Generally a great stay!
Main suite had a water bed which wasn’t described and wasn’t great! The coffee machine didn’t work and was a completely different machine to the one described in the manual? The sauna didn’t work. The CD players didn’t work. The bottle racks on both fridge doors were broken and not useable? The lights in the lounge were on a passive but only stayed on for around 3mins then switched off resulting in people dancing around all evening to keep the lights on! Home control a great idea but not very well managed. Main microwave on the kitchen did not work. All these are minor items but when only staying for 2 nights were not worth moaning about! However, this is intended as information -not a complaint !
GBAbsolutely everything, the cottage exceeded our expectations! The food hamper was a lovely little extra we wasn’t expecting! The water bed was also a huge bonus (definitely a new experience for us). So much for all ages to do, at no point was anyone board! Garden area was well maintained and kids had a great time out there and it was safe enough for them to roam around without an adult watching them constantly meaning we could play pool etc while they played happily in the garden. The cottage had absolutely everything you could need for babies and pets and so many books, cds, dvds and games to keep all ages entertained.
The only down fall was that we couldn’t work out how to turn off the indoor lights as everything was automatic so when they turned off as soon as we moved they came back on again. But that was the only little glitch!
GBGreat property, very clean & well equipped. My girls loved the hot tub & play area outside.
Nothing to dislike but kitchen is down some spiral stairs, just something to consider for some families.
