City Escape , 10 mins walk to the City Centre and Principality Stadium Sleeps 5

Clean and tidy, comfortable beds.

Everything was great.

Location was relatively central.

So disappointed in this stay. No shower only a hand held hose. The water temperature fluctuated.Bathroom was not hygenic bin and soap dish holder green mould. Floor in bathroom was cracked and jaggy linoleum sticking up. Wire sticking out wall in hallway, kitchen flooring tacked down with nails so could not walk around barefooted as they protruded out floor boards. 2 tumbler glasses for 5 people, plates had to be washed as grease residue on them. Washing up liquid and handsoap watered down. Cooker hob and tv were all smeared. 3 sachets of milk left for group of 5. Window in the living room not safe. Contacted host and she advised that if we weren't happy she would give us an hour to get out and waive the cancellation fee. No apology she couldn't care less. We were unable to secure alternative accommodation so had no choice but to stay put. This visit was to celebrate a 60th birthday and was ruined due to being on the phone to booking.com, the host and phoning round hotels in the area for availability for a few hours when we should have been out exploring Cardiff. We were unable to get a proper shower. Maintenance did come midday on the Saturday to attach the shower head to the wall but our weekend had already been ruined as we were only there fri/sat. Maintenance or host unsure if gentleman was the proprietor or not offered to give us £20 early check in fee and an additional £50 inconvenience but I have not received an email to confirm this. Currently waiting on booking.com to resolve this matter. There was definitely a few health & safety issues within this property and it would be hazardous for young children or elderly adults.

The property was in an excellent location. The interior was very nice and clean which made the whole experience a positive one. Thank you very much.

Struggled with the shower and wasn’t enough glasses for everyone, everything else was great

Amazing value perfect location for city centre and station. Very efficient correspondent with hosts. Communication not clear in the portal, struggled to find some info but quickly resolved by messaging hosts. The shower was not very good, poor water flow and we couldn't put it in the holder was too heavy so water just trickled down the wall. Need more glasses in the kitchen. The main front door area needs some maintenance but other than that a lovely place to stay and would stay there again 😀
