We loved how spacious the apartment was and its location

We liked how close it was to points of interest and the amenities the property had. The kitchen was quiet spacious and bedrooms were comfortable.

For some reason, we weren't able to make the TV in the living room display any images while playing an app. The audio was working though so we just made do of what was available.

Lovely clean flat, it's in a great location close to city centre. Very good communication from the hosts. I would highly recommend it.

I don't think the property should say that there is parking available, its not a dedicated parking, and yes I know it says street parking, but its no guarantee at any moment. We had to park at least 500m away is an area that seemed (unbelievably) more dodgy than the one the apartment is in. I found the facilities to be really badly put together. The beds were uncomfortable, short and not the cleanest, one guest complained that the sheet smelled as if someone had already slept in them. The hot water was impossible to get to a decent temperature, and the flow was a dribble. The apartment itself is falling apart, there is a lot of filler and surface attempts to make it somewhat better, but they in themselves look tatty. I can see money was spent, for instance the bath was probably pricey, but it looks as if its about to fall through the floor. The kitchen is nice, but don't look too close. The windows are PVC but are so badly installed that they leak cold air in, particularly in the lounge area. The laminate floor is cracked and pealing in some spots. The surrounding area is very dirty, its clearly not a great area, there is trash everywhere. (Admittedly not the fault of the host) Frankly when I arrived I nearly booked a hotel or other accommodation instead, but I was talked out of it by the other guests mostly because it was not refundable at that point. If it were a LOT cheaper this review would be different because I could expect less. I think one should be honest about the value of your accommodation, its most certainly not worth anywhere close to the price we paid. The phrased being thrown around to describe the accommodation was, "A pig with lipstick on".

The quick response of management

I stayed with a friend for 2 nights in June, and we both thought the apartment was fabulous. The beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was very spacious and nicely furnished and decorated. It feels very safe and secure with key code entry at the front door and door to the apartment. I was able to park right outside without any difficulties. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the Principality and approximately 20 minutes to town, so the location was ideal. I couldn't recommend this apartment enough, and would definitely stay again.
