Self catering log cabin 5 mins from Kilkenny City Eircode R95 HH9W

I was afraid that the cottage would be cold, but there is heater and it warms up the space nicely. If you don't have a car, the location is a little difficult to reach. However, the owner was very helpful, picked us up at the train station, and also offered us a ride to town the next day. The accommodation was comfortable, the kitchen was nicely equipped, and we enjoyed a pleasant stay.

This cute little cabin had an extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The furnishings were simple but comfortable. If you're looking for a high-end accommodation this isn't it, but for the price it provided exceptional value. The owner was friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean. The locked-garden setting of the cabin was pretty and provided privacy and security. We were very happy with our stay.

As noted before, this isn't a high-end deluxe property, but then you're not paying high-end deluxe pricing. For people like us on a fixed budget this cozy cabin was a perfect solution.

Our stay was fine at this log cabin , it has an original feel to the place, the location is quite convenient to the Kilkenny city center if you have a car.

Take into consideration that it’s quite a small room, a bit more cramped if you need two separate beds. Parking is about 50 meters from the cabin entrance and includes a few steep stairs which is difficult to navigate with heavy luggage. We left our heavier luggage in the car at night and stayed at the cabin with carry on size luggage .

Very nice family to stay with. They were accommodating to our needs, assisted us with directions, offered to take us into town, etc. Receiving a home-cooked Irish meal was over the top for us. It was delicious! Thanks so much!

It would b better if it was cordoned off from house....separate from house....to b more private.....coz u have to close blinds to have privacy....
