Lovely flat, spacious, clean, and in good condition. The kitchen is fully equipped, which makes it great for a family with kids. There’s a small backyard where you can enjoy your morning coffee and listen to the birds. There was also a cute cat and even a raccoon hanging around. Really cosy place, we liked everything!

Nothing bad to say - this was one of the best places we stayed at during our big trip around England (over 3000 miles).

Housekeeping needs looking at, limescale in kettle so needed to scrub before using. Likewise limescale on kitchen tap. Oven and grill not cleaned and fridge and cupboard doors not wiped down. Mould on shower screen, easy and simple to clean….remove plastic seal on the base! Bathroom window needs a blind….showering, especially at night, silhouette can be seen outside! And a rubber bath mat would save slipping! Boiler noise switching on and off every few minutes is annoying in double bedroom and should be easy to control. Okay….now for the biggy……there had been a leak upstairs and the ceiling in the double bedroom was water stained, chose not to check bed until leaving, but as suspected the mattress was totally water stained. Why not a) clean or replace mattress or at least b) paint over ceiling stain to not highlight an issue! Small outdoor space would benefit from a minor makeover….bit of astroturfing and colourful potting would make this a nice area to sit in on spring and summer evenings. These are simple, easy and affordable remedies that would make me recommend this property
