"À par le problème d’absence de badge le reste était parfait"

L’appart très confortable bonne literie et propre

Je n’ai pas réussi à avoir le badge pour circuler librement dans la résidence du coup pénible pour pouvoir aller à la piscine. Je suis resté bloquée 1/2 h avant de trouver quelqu’un pour me permettre de descendre.

Firstly there are few things that I raised with the organization and my messages were ignored. It took us almost an hour to check in because they sent us a wrong pin. We were not provided with access tag. The house was not properly cleaned. Certain things were broken and some plugs were not working. We raised these things but we were ignored.. The beds we not comfortable at all. Curtains had some holes.

The apartment was not clean when we got there, beddings were not clean. We paid plus minus R700 cleaning fee but we did not get fresh towels daily, no soap to wash dishes, dirty linens and duvets

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this accommodation. The listing was misleading, as it failed to disclose that the property is a student accommodation. On the way to the unit, the building itself was in terrible condition—dirty white walls, loud students, and balconies cluttered with hanging clothing and even mattresses. Upon arrival at the unit, I was appalled by its state. It was poorly maintained, with dirty and worn-out couches, cracked tiles, and stained, yellowing bedding. The plumbing was in terrible condition, with loose taps, while the surfaces were sticky and appeared never to have been deep cleaned. The showers had visible dirt and grime in the corners and between the tiles. Unfortunately I didn’t notice take pictures of the ceiling but it has cracks and you can see through it. Due to these unacceptable conditions, we decided not to check in. The platform initially promised to refund our booking fee of R1000.00, yet despite their assurances, we have not received our money back. Repeated attempts to contact them and their service provider have led nowhere, with no resolution or reimbursement. Their failure to honor their promise, along with their lack of proper vetting of this property, has prompted me to consider filing a complaint under the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa. I hold them accountable for allowing this property to operate on their platform and for facilitating the loss of our money. The lack of transparency, poor service, and refusal to issue a refund have left a lasting negative impression. I strongly advise against booking this accommodation or using this booking.com.

Administration service and check-in process were excellent 👌. Apartment well located.

Bathroom were not clean. Needs more revamping, especially for hygienic purposes. I would recommend that cleaner use moulder removers to prevent dirt on the bathroom tiles. We also spend two nights with main bedroom bathroom toilets not working and waiting maintenence/repair. The apartment needs some maintenance and especially for security purposes. Main door lock was tempered with and needs urgent replacement for tenants/guest security purposes. Balcony sliding door doors not lock nor have a key. Besides those issues raised, the apartment was OK and well located. Administration service and check-in process were excellent 👌.
