Great location, walkable…close to restaurants and neighborhood grocery stores…bedding and linens are comfortable and nice…kitchen is well equipped…parking can be a challenge but still find parking close to the apartment…just to be aware, there are a few steps up and down in the apartment so this may be challenging for some… area felt safe and neighborhood is quiet…enjoyed the tangerines that Angela left for us!

Kitchen was well supplied with basic dishes and utensils for simple meals, and coffee/tea/milk/sugar/salt were provided. It's bring your own groceries/foods. The apt is part of a grand old historic house, lovely and formal in decor, but comfortable. Bed comfy. Everything very clean. Near Cheesman Park, the Secret Garden coffee/cafe place we like, and the walkable neighborhood our daughter and family have chosen to live in. Folder with instructions for lights, etc, was very helpful!

Just to be clear, "first floor" in description turned out to be "ground floor" to me. I was surprised to enter and go DOWNstairs from there to the lower level. :) Also, the cleaning fee might put you off, but it's super clean, and if you stay more than 1-2 nights, it's still a GREAT value!

We used a lock code which was very user friendly.

We arrived in the dark so it was a little difficult to locate the building, but that was a temporary issue that was quickly forgotten about once we were ensconced in the building.

Location couldn't have been better! Everything was cozy, comfortable and convenient. We were especially thankful for the checkin help as we were trying to beat the approaching snow storm.

I was a little over-zealous at the supermarket, thinking we might be snowed in. The tiny refrigerator ultimately worked out, but I was unaware when I arrived.

The apartment was very roomy and comfortable. The location was very convenient and easy to get to different parts of town. The very large TV in the living room with full cable included was a nice surprise. Our host was very quick to communicate.

There isn't an ideal desk setup for working. There is a very small desk and then a small high-top table in the kitchen. If you plan to work from home for extended periods, this might not be the place for you.

This historic home is stunning! The apartment is in an excellent neighborhood for walking, and it is close to gardens and parks. Lovely side streets with restaurants and shops. The host is outstanding, attentive and helpful. I have traveled to many US cities as well as Canada, Mexico, China, Peru, Japan, UK, France, Italy, Chile, India, Indonesia, and I have not had a better host.

Good location. Walkable to restaurants. Bed was extremely comfortable. The whole place was charming. Appreciated the coffee maker, milk frother, and organic milk.

The unit was spacious, clean, and quiet. It was comfortable with two large couches and lots of blankets and games.

Street parking was a little challenging in the evenings. We did find parking about a block away.
