Superb location. Lovely cottage, had everything we needed. Nice and peaceful.

Good location clean and well equipped.

The views from the lounge were amazing! The lounge is on the first floor and the elevated perspective is lovely. The cottage is located in the most stunning scenery and you can walk for miles through the forest and along the River Wye.

The location of 10 Wye cottages is beyond perfect. We were in such a beautiful spot on the river, close by to the local pub 'The Ferrie Inn' and just across the river from Symonds Yat East where we took a boat trip on the Kingfisher Cruises, ate wonderful food at the hotel, and had drinks at the Saracen's Head pub after our hike to Symond's Yat Rock. Note there is a fun little hand pulled boat to cross the river but this only runs until early evening to do check you can get back across, we didn't risk coming back over any later than 6pm just in case. At £2 per adult it was a real novelty and very enjoyable. The property itself was lovely, quite basic but with everything we needed for our stay. The gardens of the grounds are beautifully kept and a lovely spot to spend the morning before heading out.

To say the house was peaceful and quiet strangely neither myself or my partner slept very well. This might have been due to the beds not being super comfy. The sofa and huge arm chair downstairs though are great for naps after a long day. A less confident driver might struggle with the single track road to the house, also the sat nav will say you've arrived too soon, we needed to go another 1 minute down the road and the sign for the cottages appears on the right hand side. We found it while looking to turn around as we thought we'd missed it!
