The cosy accommodation

Single track Road a bit unnerving but had no problems. Some local information on how to get to hand ferry and walk to Biblins bridge would have been useful.

Great location and very convenient for the local area. Property was very clean and had all the necessary amenities.

Location

We absolutely loved this property and fell in love with the area. The house was clean, comfortable and in a quiet, secluded area. The house is a short walk from woods you can explore, the ferry crossing, places to eat and much more. A short drive (or longer walk) away you can visit King Arthur’s Cave and Symonds Yat Rock. A little further afield you can visit (and must visit) Clearwell Caves and Puzzlewood.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The location is great, and very good for exploring local area. Garden is really nice. Parking is good. Superb value for money.

I found the bed small and uncomfortable, along with the pillows. Also, the house lacked a couple of obvious things like an iron or hoover, despite being otherwise well eqiuped. Only small issues, and definitely not enough to spoil the trip. Still great value for money.

Excellent location, lovely holiday house.

This is our second time staying in the cottages, we stayed in number 8 then number 10. Number 8 has a log burner so we preferred that one for that reason. But number 10 you can shut the living room door which is good when you have a baby crawling like we did. The views from the living room window is absolutely beautiful. The host responds quite quickly. Beds are very comfortable. Lots to do in the area you don't have to travel far to see the fabulous castles or puzzle wood, Symonds yat rock is a must to see also. The gardens were also lovely to walk around, I have inserted photos

The only thing was the heater in the living room seemed to have a life of it's own, turned on when switched off on the wall and blared heat out which wasn't the best when it was hot weather when we stayed, also the heater gets that hot we was worried the baby would burn himself on it so we had to pull the cabinet in front of it to prevent that happening. The host said she would send someone to fix it so hopefully it will be fixed for future guests now. That was the only downside but would not stop us from coming again in the future I just wouldn't book that cottage unless I knew it was fixed.
