Not actually very clean and the blind were stiff trying to roll them down and three room was very cold

The location was good, close to where I needed to be. The room was fairly big and there was free on street parking (only for certain hours). The room was supplied with a travel toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo and body wash and slippers. Hot water from the shower. Free wifi. Coffee and tea supplies, and a little kitchenette. Luckily I was only in the studio for a very short amount of time so it fulfilled its purpose.

There were only 2 pillows for the bed and the sheets were green which doesn't make it feel clean. The bathroom was very small so not good for a larger person. The apartment was in a very weird building, there were security cameras when you walked through the front door and loads of mail which indicated people must be living there. I know it cant be helped but there was obviously a homeless person living outside the house which made it feel like an unsafe area. Every time someone walked up and down the stairs I could hear the banging as the stairs are right over the bathroom. When the person in the room above walked around the floor boards banged and creaked. I stayed in studio number 7, and whoever was in the room next door i could hear talking on the phone and a Tv playing until the early hours of the morning. There isnt much soundproofing in the building at all, which also made it feel very unsafe as it always sounded like someone was trying to open my door. Very overpriced for a rough around the edges apartment - it would've been cheaper and nicer to book a travel lodge which i should have done.

It was very clean and had responsive staff

The room was small.

The location is ideal if you go to UOB or are seeing someone from UOB

There was a gas smell coming from the outside whenever I opened my window. Walls are thin so you can hear lots but customers abide the quiet times and I wasn’t disturbed when trying to sleep

Location for Birmingham university was excellent. Tea/coffee/toothbrush and toothpaste was a nice touch. Shower very good.

Room was cold. Arrived at night and the key pickup box didn't have any light near so very hard to see the numbers to type the code. No light switch in common room at entry so had to get to other end of room to switch light on and get into my studio room. Shower room had a bad odour.

Clean, there is a fridge and you can even cook if you want

Very slow internet, minor thing but still very important
