"Lovely farmhouse stay"

Really lovely period property. Stunning views from breakfast table. Full breakfast, nicely cooked. Owner/host, very nice and friendly young gentleman. Good parking. Central to Borders tourist destinations.

The road upto the property had a lot of potholes. The house entrance gate needs a sign.

Everything!!! The location was beautiful. Fantastic hospitality from Abbie and Charlie. Our room was really comfortable. We felt very welcomed into the household, which was a genuinely nice thing to do. Attention to detail was noted. Thank you 😊 for a wonderful stay.

"In addition to the allure of Newton Farmhouse, there was much to see and enjoy locally."

We received a very warm welcome despite being slightly delayed in our arrival on a damp, dark evening. The large rooms with all-round wonderful views of the farm and hills beyond, plus comfortable beds and fresh milk for tea made our early awakening by the children well worthwhile. They loved the swing, seeing the veg garden, greenhouse with its vine and watcing the wildlife around the estate. We also loved the variety of art in the breakfast room and beyond.

It was a delightful old farmhouse with lots of character and Abby the owner was a real delight very bubbly and full of fun we really liked her

"Brilliant hosts giving their guests memorable holidays."

Brilliant hosts nothing too much trouble . Breakfast delicious.Guests were able to use dinning room when they required for their own snacks . Exceptional large bedroom with stunning views over the lake. Property situated close to other towns ,only short drives away.

Our own mobility issues stopped us from using shower over the bath . I am sure if we needed this addressing our hosts would have found us a walk in shower in their beautiful home
