The upstairs toilet didn’t work well, the door to the bathroom wouldn’t shut, needs adjusting Pillows need protectors on and when I stripped the bed the mattress topper was stained on both beds

I recently stayed at a modern townhouse in Edinburgh, and my overall experience was a mix of positives and negatives. The hotel's prime location, just a 5-minute walk from Princess Street, was undoubtedly a highlight, providing easy access to the city's attractions. The townhouse itself exuded a lovely, modern charm, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, a notable downside was the check-in and check-out timings. With check-in starting at 4 pm and check-out at 10 am, it felt restrictive, especially considering the nightly rate of £400. Guests paying a premium would reasonably expect more flexible timings. Adding to this, the hotel lacked flexibility, as I discovered that early check-in and late check-out incurred additional charges. This lack of complimentary flexibility was disappointing for a stay at this price point. Despite these drawbacks, the convenience of the location and the appealing ambiance of the townhouse may still make it a suitable choice for those who prioritize proximity to Princess Street. Overall, it's a pleasant stay with room for improvement in certain aspects.

It was a very good, central location and the property, once inside, was beautiful and clean with good facilities.

The lack of parking was an issue and the property was located down a dark back street which was a little scary and noisy at night and definitely at odds with the interior of the apartment which was clean and welcoming.

We loved everything about the property. How spacious and clean it is. The location. How comfortable the beds are. The extra personal touches you put in the property made our stay enjoyable

There was really anything we didn’t like. If I had to put something the upstairs toilet doesn’t flush very well but that didn’t spoil anything about our stay 😊

Excellent location just off Princes Street. Comfortable beds. Modern kitchen with facilities. Speaker provided.
