"Charming hotel near Big Bend NP"

"A unique, art-filled abode in a fantastic town (Marathon, fyi, that's prounounced mare-a-THUN)"

My stay here, though short, was wonderful. My host was amazing, the bed was very comfortable, and the quaint building was filled with incredible art. Na Bolom is a very unique property, and I will definitely stay again one day.

We love the location and the quirkyness of the structure.

We like that it’s very different from your hotel/motel scene, but it’s definitely not for everyone.

"Overall Wonderful!"

We stayed in the very cozy "Na Bolom" house for 2. It had everything we needed - hot water, comfy bed, toiletries, and more. The decor was eclectic and had a lot of personality. Probably one of the most unique places I've ever stayed at overnight. Genevieve was a very kind and accommodating host. She helped us through check in when we arrived late at 1 am. When our car wouldn't start the morning we checked out, she was even willing to come and help us out. You're the best, Genevieve!

A lot of light comes through some of the windows in the morning, so it might be hard to sleep in without an eye mask.

"Great jumping-off point to Big Bend National Park, and a welcome “home” at the end of the day."

We loved the unique decor, structure, and the warm vibes. Overall, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Our host Ingrid was welcoming and responsive.

Our only difficulty was in not being tall enough: either to use the highly placed microwave oven safely, or to avail ourselves of the only quite small mirror mounted high above the toilet.
