It had enough space

The heating was low and water in the kitchen was cold. Oven needed cleaning and suitable trays for cooking. Shower was also broken needs fixing

At first when I called about a later check in the host was nice. But once I checked in and called him about the place he wouldn’t listen to me unless it was urgent…he was supposedly at a wedding reception but no matter, if you have guests checking into your home it should be evident that it’s important to communicate with them.

Everything. The photos did not match the pictures, it was…for a lack of a better word…dumpy. I paid a lot of money NOT to stay in the “ghetto”. Everything was run down, the furniture was torn up, the cable in the bedroom was held together with tape which was a safety hazard and will be reported to the counsel, the bathroom had mold and mildew on the ceiling, then was feces / urine on the outside of the toilet bowl, the toilet was broken, holes in the walls, tape on door frames, all smoke detectors had been removed, it smelt of cigarette smoke from the moment of walking into the home, the neighbors upstairs kids ran across the ceiling at all hours, and so many more things. It was not clean, safe or livable/stay-able…it was more like a “rent by the hour” motel room. I have photos and videos. I called booking.com right after attempting to speak to the host who kept repeating…”is this urgent? If not I am not speaking to you.” He would not listen to what I had to say. I told booking.com that I would pay for one night because it was already almost midnight and the hotels were full and we had nowhere to go until morning and had just traveled over 6 hours but I wanted the rest of the days refunded because I was not staying there any longer. We didn’t even change out of our clothes and left at sunrise. I have requested my money back for the rest of the booking but the host refuses to give it back. I am still waiting for my refund. The photos in the ad must be from years ago because the place does not resemble the photos at all. He listed smoke free, soundproof, smoke alarm, key card access, 24 hour security, carbon monoxide detectors, cable/Netflix (tv wouldn’t even turn on in the living room), fire extinguishers, guest accommodations disinfected between stays etc…the items were either not present or not working. The ad is nothing like reality. I’m not happy with the host or booking.com.

Location

Old stuff and poorly maintained. The property was not responding for the security deposit of 150 pounds on the booking. com till I needed to call the property twice. The manager initially was misbehaving about the security deposit.

It's unbearable noise from neighbours pushed me cut my holiday short. There was a bad smell in the property that need attention. Except from the location this property is not good for holiday 😕

It was nice place and the location the customer service was pleasant.

The door handle need to fixed properly and 3 toilet rolls for 5 days for family of 5 not good
