Location.

While the unit is advertised as a ground floor apartment, it’s important to note that access requires going down two steep flights of stairs — something that isn’t mentioned on the booking site. This could be a significant concern for anyone with mobility issues. On arrival, the apartment looked aesthetically pleasing at first glance, but it quickly became clear that the property needs maintenance. Some of the issues we encountered during our 3-night stay included: The lounge patio doors did not lock The toilet had a persistent leak A musty, damp smell was present throughout the home Several pillows had visible mold and we asked for replacements which they did provide. The bath towels were very worn, with some even torn We reported some these issues to the agent, who was responsive, but unfortunately, these could not be resolved during our stay. With some care and proper maintenance, the unit has potential — but as it stands, we wouldn’t be booking it again. At just over R11,400 for 3 nights, you would definitely expect a far higher standard of comfort and upkeep.

The location was perfect suited our needs as we could go to a noisy place and come back to a very nice and quiet place.
